2025 Oscars winners announced: See the full list, from Mikey Madison's huge Best Actress win to Anora domination

Whether you saw red over the Emilia Pérez scandal or basked in the Elphaba-hued green delight of Wicked, all elements of the 2025 awards season culminated in Oscars gold on Sunday night, as the 97th Academy Awards winners were revealed live at a ceremony hosted (for the first time) by Conan O'Brien. Months of Hollywood jockeying and campaigning led to the main event, which finally put an end to one of the twistiest seasons in recent memory, with Anora winning the biggest prize of the evening when it took Best Picture among its five-Oscar haul. Director Sean Baker went into the evening without a single Oscar to his credit, and left with four — a record for most Oscars won by one person for a single film in one night. In addition to winning Best Picture as a producer, Baker won Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Film Editing. Though Moore won a healthy number of precursor honors in the months leading up to the Oscars, Madison generated heat in recent weeks with major wins at the BAFTA Awards and the Indie Spirits, with overall momentum building for Anora that also worked in her favor. Also a spectacular race to the finish line, the Best Actor battle that once saw Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown) challenging Adrien Brody for the Oscar ended with the latter taking his second career trophy for his role in The Brutalist. Another notable victory of the night included Wicked's Paul Tazewell winning for Best Costume Design, which made him the first-ever Black man to win in the category in Oscars history. Although not a victory, Diane Warren made headlines after extending her Oscars losing streak following her 16th consecutive defeat in the Best Original Song category. The O'Brien-hosted ceremony included several other show-stopping moments, from The Color Purple stars Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey reuniting to introduce a Queen Latifah-fronted musical tribute to the late Quincy Jones, to Wicked nominees Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo kicking off the show with a Wizard of Oz-inspired medley. As previously announced, this year's special honorees include Honorary Award winners Juliet Taylor and Jones, Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award winner Richard Curtis, and Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award winners Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson of the James Bond franchise. Read on for a full list of 2025 Oscars winners. 'Anora' wins Best Picture at Oscars 2025.
